WOOD OPTIONS
Most of our chairs are available in a range of hardwoods. Available options for any particular chair are shown on the WOOD selector on each product page. Please note that different workshops have different wood options.
Wood finish is most often in beeswax or natural oils. White Ash finished in black “ebonized” lacquer is available for many chairs. Likewise some Oak chairs can be whitened with a pigmented oil finish.
FABRICS & LEATHERS
Upholstery images for any particular chair are shown on that chair’s product page. Please note that each workshop (eg. Miyazaki, Ritzwell, Takumi) has its own readily available fabrics & leathers. COM and COL are also possible for most chairs. Please enquire regarding prices and the yardage required per chair for COM/COL. A limited number of fabric & leather swatches can be available.
In addition to the fabrics & leathers shown on our product pages, each workshop has additional outside fabric & leather lines from which they can source. Here are the most significant outside collections available at each of our principal workshops:
MIYAZAKI: Kvadrat, over 120 lines (Denmark); Sorensen leathers (Denmark).
RITZWELL: Elmo NORDIC & Elmo SOFT leathers – over 100 colors (Sweden).
Not all fabric & leathers are available at all times – please enquire. For overseas collections such as Kvadrat, Elmo and Sorensen there may be additional charges for cutting & delivery to Japan. Note that Kvadrat prices can vary quite significantly depending on the line selected – please enquire.
