OCEAN SHIPPING
The cost of ocean shipping from Japan to the West Coast is included in the item price. In the case of larger orders, special handling requirements or air freight, shipping is sometimes quoted separately. Please enquire.
DOMESTIC DELIVERY
Delivery by truck freight from the West Coast to final destinations within North America will be charged at cost depending on final destination and order size. White glove service (unpacking, carry-in & removal of all packing materials) is available for an additional cost (minimum 6 chairs). For delivery costs to Hawaii, Alaska, northern Canada, please enquire.
IMPORT CLEARANCE
For USA and Canada Customs: brokerage, duties, fees and bond premiums are normally covered by Kozai. For crosstrade shipments outside of North America, our shipping Incoterms are DAT where the buyer is responsible for the destination import clearance, customs duties and fees, local taxes, and local delivery to the final destination.
LEAD TIMES
Each workshop has its own production schedules, which can vary by product and demand. As a general rule, lead time including ocean shipping ranges from 12-18 weeks. Add approx 1 week for domestic delivery, depending on the final destination. For the current lead time for a particular item please enquire.
